Can I Get Permanent Brows If I Have No Eyebrow Hair?
When there is very little brow hair left, choosing a technique can feel like a much bigger decision than choosing a makeup product. You may not want a new look at all. You want familiar brows back—and you want to recognize yourself in the mirror.

The short answer: missing hair does not automatically rule out PMU
Permanent makeup places pigment in the skin. It does not need a hair on every point where pigment is placed, so sparse areas or missing tails can be part of the design discussion. But having no brow hair does not automatically make every technique suitable. Your skin, previous work and the finish you want still need an individual assessment.
A drawn hair is different from a growing hair
Machine-created nano strokes give the appearance of individual hairs. Powder brows create a shaded effect. Neither replaces the texture or movement of real hair, and neither treats the reason your hair is missing. That distinction matters when looking at close-up photographs: pigment on bare skin may read differently from pigment mixed with natural hairs.
Start with the face you want to recognize
Tell us how you normally feel comfortable wearing your brows. Do you prefer a very light outline, visible hair-like detail or a softly filled-in shape? Bring a photograph of yourself with brows you liked, if you have one. It can explain your preferences without becoming a template we must copy.
You do not need to book nano brows just because you have heard that they look natural. We can discuss the available options first. A softly balanced result depends on more than the name of the technique.
What to discuss before booking a procedure
Mention when the hair loss started, any relevant diagnosis or treatment, old brow tattoos and previous removal. If the loss is new or unexplained, ask a healthcare professional about the cause before treating this as only a cosmetic question. A PMU consultation cannot diagnose hair loss.

Will nano brows look exactly like real hairs on bare skin?
No technique can promise that. Ask to see relevant healed examples, including brows with a similar starting point, rather than relying only on fresh close-ups.
