Can I Wear Lash Extensions with Glasses?
You like the idea of waking up with lashes done. But you also need to put your glasses on, see clearly and get through the day without the lashes brushing your lenses. That is a practical question worth asking before choosing a set.

Real lash extensions from our studio portfolio. This image shows a lash look, not a glasses-fit test.
Glasses do not automatically rule out extensions
What matters is how the finished lashes sit in the space between your eyes and your actual lenses. Length and curl both affect that space. A shorter design may be more comfortable than copying a long reference set, but there is no single lash length that fits every pair of glasses.
Your natural lashes and the look you want also matter. The goal is a set you can live in—not a beautiful photograph followed by daily frustration.
Bring the glasses you actually wear
Bring your everyday frames to the appointment and tell the artist that you wear them regularly. If you switch between reading glasses, prescription frames and sunglasses, mention that too. A design that clears one pair may sit differently with another.
It is more useful to explain where your current lashes touch than to ask for a particular curl letter you saw online. You can say, for example, that you want definition while keeping enough room to blink comfortably. The artist can discuss the design with those priorities in mind.
Do I have to choose a barely visible set?
Not necessarily. Length is only one part of the appearance of a lash set. Placement and fullness also change the look. Explain whether you want a soft everyday effect or a more noticeable finish, and ask which options are realistic for your lashes and frames. More length is not the only way to make your eyes stand out.
If a current set keeps touching the lenses
Contact your lash artist and describe what is happening. Do not cut the extensions yourself or pull them off to create space. If the frames themselves fit poorly, an optician is the right person to assess the glasses. You should not have to keep pushing them out of position to tolerate a lash set.
Quick questions before your appointment
Is there a guaranteed glasses-friendly length?
No. Your frames, how they sit and your natural lashes differ from someone else's. Bring the actual pair rather than choosing by a universal millimeter rule.
Does LED application change whether lashes touch glasses?
LED describes how the adhesive is cured. You still need to discuss the physical length, curl and fit of the finished lashes.
What should I say when booking?
Tell us you wear glasses and describe the finish you want. If you already have extensions, also tell us when and where the set was applied before choosing a refill appointment.
